Theater speaks the truth. Finding words for the unspeakable
Workshopul de scriitură dramatică cu dramaturga Miriam Unterthiner în parteneriat cu Forumul Cultural Austriac are loc în 27 octombrie, ora 15:00 în sala 29. Scopul acestui workshop este de a antrena studenții într-o discuție legată de moduri în care putem aborda scriitura de teatru politic. Un punct de referință îl va reprezenta piesa sa, Blutbrot.
Worskhopul se va desfășura în limba engleză și este dedicat studenților de la Teatrologie din anul 2 și 3.
How do we talk about the unspeakable? How do we find words for what cannot be said? How do we move beyond clichés?
Together, we will try to approach difficult, sensitive topics through art. We will search for our own words, words that have not been overused, that do not reinforce stereotypes, but words that can express what we cannot say. In a second step we will incorporate these words into the writing of plays.
Miriam Unterthiner (born 1994 in South Tyrol, Italy) is a playwright and writer based in Vienna. She studied Philosophy, German Studies, Scenic Writing and Language Arts. Her plays have received several awards, including the Kleist Prize for New Drama and the Hans Gratzer Prize. Her work has been staged at the Tiroler Landestheater and Schauspielhaus Wien, among others.
